Playing the predictions game is a tempting exercise at this time of the year. It should, of course, be avoided at all costs. As our recent 'Bunch of Fives, 5 predictions that didn't quite make it' (http://www.silicon.com/a50131) attests, it's more than likely to embarrass you at a later date. Indeed the best you can hope is that your off-target crystal ball gazing will be quickly forgotten.
